Parent Aware Program

Parent Aware is Minnesota's Rating and Improvement Program for Early Childhood Programs that volunteer to participate in Parent Aware participate in continuous quality training and professional development to go above and beyond basic health and safety requirements.

Participating programs receive a rating of one, two, three, or four stars. Ratings are based on demonstrated use of best practices that prepare children for kindergarten. Each rating level builds on the previous, and helps families easily identify how far a program has progressed in adopting these practices.

Mt. Olive is proud to be a parent aware rated program!

Being parent aware means not only do we use best practices to prepare children for school, we are also able to receive higher funding rates through the State of Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program, and have access to Early Learning Scholarship funds in order to make high quality preschool more accessible for all!
